Segment 9
Braking Point | Gear | Minimum speed |
154 metres before the apex | 1 | 68 km/h |
As you approach this left-hand corner, focus on your braking point. Begin braking around 154 meters before the apex to bring your speed down to the ideal minimum of 68 km/h. Maintain a smooth, steady application of the brake throughout the braking zone. As you turn in, keep the car in 1st gear to maximize traction and control through the corner. Gradually increase throttle application after the apex, being mindful of any tendency to oversteer as you accelerate out. Remember to keep your steering inputs smooth and progressive to maintain a clean, efficient line through the corner. With practice, you'll be able to carry more speed through this section while maintaining excellent car control.
