Segment 1
Braking Point | Gear | Minimum speed |
53 metres before the apex | 2 | 79 km/h |
As you approach the first corner, focus on your braking point. Begin braking approximately 53 meters before the apex of the corner. This will allow you to carry good speed through the turn while still slowing the car sufficiently. Aim to be in 2nd gear as you reach the apex, maintaining a minimum speed of 79 km/h. Throughout the corner, be smooth with your throttle application, gradually increasing pressure as you exit the turn. Remember to stay patient and let the car rotate naturally - avoid any sudden or jerky inputs. With a well-executed first corner, you'll set yourself up for a strong run down the following straight.
