Segment 1
Braking Point | Gear | Minimum speed |
190 metres before the apex | 4 | 151 km/h |
As you approach the first corner, focus on your braking point. Begin braking at around 190 meters before the apex to set up your entry speed. Aim to carry as much speed as possible through the corner while maintaining control. Gently trail the brakes as you turn in, allowing the car to rotate and find the apex. Once you reach the apex, smoothly apply the throttle to power out of the corner. Remember to keep the car in 4th gear throughout this segment. By nailing your braking point and managing your throttle application, you can maximize your speed and momentum through this opening corner.
