Segment 1
Braking Point | Gear | Minimum speed |
243 metres after the apex | 2 | 57 km/h |
As you approach this right-hand corner, focus on your braking technique. Begin braking at the 243-meter mark, gradually applying the brakes to slow the car down to the minimum speed of 57 km/h in second gear. Maintain a smooth, controlled braking phase, and be ready to turn in as you reach the apex. Once you've reached the apex, smoothly apply the throttle to accelerate out of the corner, being mindful of any delay in throttle application to allow the car to stabilize. Remember to keep your steering inputs clean and progressive throughout the corner. By mastering the braking and throttle application, you'll be able to carry good speed through this section of the track.
