Segment 6
Braking Point | Gear | Minimum speed |
100 metres before the apex | 2 | 87 km/h |
As you approach this right-hand corner, focus on your braking point. Begin braking around 100 meters before the apex to scrub off speed and set up your entry. In second gear, aim to reach your minimum speed of 87 km/h at the apex. Gradually increase throttle application as you exit the corner, being mindful not to apply too much power too soon and upset the car's balance. Remember to trail brake slightly to help the car turn in, but avoid excessive braking once you've reached the apex. Stay patient with the throttle and let the car gradually build speed as you accelerate out of the corner. Maintain smooth, progressive inputs throughout to maximize your exit speed.
