Segment 1
Braking Point | Gear | Minimum speed |
144 metres before the apex | 2 | 95 km/h |
As you approach the first corner, focus on your braking technique. Begin braking at the 144-meter mark, gradually applying the brakes to slow the car down to the minimum speed of 95 km/h. Maintain a smooth, consistent brake pressure throughout the braking zone, and be sure to trail brake slightly as you turn in to the corner. Once you reach the apex, smoothly transition to full throttle application, being mindful of the car's stability as you accelerate out of the corner. Remember to keep the car in second gear throughout this segment. By executing a well-timed and controlled braking maneuver, you can set yourself up for a strong exit and carry good momentum into the next section of the track.
