Segment 6
Braking Point | Gear | Minimum speed |
36 metres before the apex | 3 | 100 km/h |
As you approach this right-hand corner, focus on your braking point. Begin braking approximately 36 meters before the apex to bring your speed down to the ideal minimum of 100 km/h. Maintain a steady throttle application through the corner, and aim to carry as much speed as possible while staying in 3rd gear. Remember to gradually increase throttle pressure as you exit the corner, allowing the car to accelerate smoothly onto the next straight. By mastering the braking and throttle control in this segment, you'll be able to carry excellent momentum through the corner and set yourself up for a strong exit.
