Segment 6
Braking Point | Gear | Minimum speed |
146 metres before the apex | 3 | 118 km/h |
As you approach this right-hand corner, focus on your braking point. Begin braking around 146 meters before the apex to set up your entry speed. Aim to carry as much speed as possible through the corner by maintaining a smooth, progressive throttle application after the apex. Keep the car in 3rd gear to optimize your acceleration out of the corner. Remember to trail the brakes slightly as you turn in to maximize your grip and control. Stay patient with the throttle and allow the car to settle before getting back to full power. With a disciplined approach, you can carry excellent speed through this challenging section of the circuit.
